Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to perform job duties including operating Point of Sale systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow food safety protocols
- Able to handle cash accurately
- Must comply with scheduled attendance requirements
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in cashier or customer service roles preferred
- Ability to demonstrate qualities in character, communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to learn and utilize new software systems
- Bilingual skills as required by location
Job Duties
- Ensures that all actions align with Board policies and the district's strategic plan
- Participates in job training and professional development
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Accurately processes all cafeteria transactions using Point of Sale system
- Maintains accurate cash flow, including counting drawers and assisting with deposits
- Ensures meals comply with USDA reimbursement regulations
- Accommodates dietary modifications and food allergies using system alerts
- Provides excellent customer service and resolves inquiries
- Assists with service line setup and restocking during meal periods
- Aids in accurate counting for daily production records
- Assists with cleaning and sanitizing service areas and stations
- Adheres to Health Department food safety and sanitation standards
