Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years old
Be able to work nights
Be able to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods
Knowledge of cooking principles
Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Able to bend, stoop, and twist
Successfully complete a Basic Office Skills Test before start date
Ability to read, write, and solve math problems

Job Qualifications

At least one year of cooking experience in a diverse food preparation environment such as a restaurant or culinary school
Food Safety Professionals certification or equivalent within 90 days of hire
Ability to read, write, and solve math problems
Ability to interpret and follow instructions accurately
Demonstrated teamwork skills and enthusiasm in work

Preparing meals for Publix associates
Cooking a variety of entrees using different methods
Serving meals buffet-style in cafeteria facilities
Following food safety and sanitation guidelines
