Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- valid driver’s license strongly preferred
- successfully complete a pre-employment screening and physical
- favorably meet and maintain Damar’s background screening
- clear of any felony convictions or disqualifying criminal offenses
- ability to lift and handle up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience working in a high-volume kitchen preferred
- understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- good communication skills
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Prepare meals from scratch
- cook items in batches
- load food carts for meal distribution
- maintain kitchen and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition
- review and follow meal count information accurately to ensure client safety
- take pride and ownership in assigned work areas
- uphold food safety and hygiene standards
