Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate is required
- One year of cash/charge handling experience required
- Customer service and hospitality-oriented focus
- Ability to handle cash and operate cash register
- Knowledge of simple math and basic adding machine procedures
- Ability to read, write and understand English fluently enough to perform the duties of the position
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet standards and time demands

Job Duties
- Provides patient-centered service, creating a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment while maintaining professionalism and composure
- Communicates clearly, responds promptly to concerns, and works collaboratively to meet or exceed customer service targets
- Demonstrates respect for patient rights and serves as a role model for Service Excellence
- Ensures accurate cash handling, including proper operation of NJ Lottery transactions
- Maintains sanitation standards, responds to sanitation needs, and manages unit sanitation stock
- Adheres to all standards, specifications, and retail venue skill requirements, able to work in any cash-handling retail area
- Follows University Hospital compliance standards, regulations, policies, and stays current as they change
- Performs additional related duties as assigned
