Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role in a café or restaurant setting preferred
  • Previous experience in a coffee shop or coffee roaster as a barista preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Basic math skills for inventory management
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach
  • Ability to work in a hot and noisy environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role in a café or restaurant setting preferred
  • Previous experience in a coffee shop or coffee roaster as a barista preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Basic math skills for inventory management

Job Duties

  • Oversee team and guests' experience following service standards
  • Monitors and ensures guest satisfaction with food and service
  • Maintains neat and clean cafe operations
  • Performs lateral service as needed for smooth operation
  • Assists in food preparation and coffee brewing
  • Educates team on coffee blends and brewing equipment
  • Learns and improves food and beverage quality
  • Provide customer service and maintain cafe setup
  • Conducts daily staff huddles and maintains communication
  • Ensures cleanliness, addresses guest complaints positively, and upholds food and beverage standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned
