Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years supervisor experience
  • Knowledge of company policies
  • Ability to read, understand, and communicate information in writing so others will understand
  • Ability to understand and communicate verbally so others can understand ideas and information
  • Ability to utilize cafe software program and email communication software such as Microsoft Outlook

Job Duties

  • Assure the highest level of guest satisfaction possible
  • Establish and maintain a culture of engaging with all guests including knowing their names and preferences
  • Help establish, maintain and train all service standards and systems
  • Assure that all service staff adheres to engagement expectations
  • Assure associates follow the cycles of service defined by management
  • Understand and follow through with excellent service recovery practices
  • Accurately operate the cash register
  • Receive and direct telephone calls with accurate message taking
  • Prepare and create smoothie and espresso beverages
  • Prepare foods offered in the cafe
  • Stock supplies, products, and utensils throughout the cafe
  • Perform general cleaning of the cafe and stock areas
  • Ensure daily tasks such as cleaning and warm-ups are completed
  • Bus tables and maintain cleanliness of eating areas
  • Provide world class service to members and guests
  • Serve in the lead capacity when food and beverage management is not present
  • Assist in training other associates
  • Assure adherence to service standards and operating procedures
  • Monitor quality control standards and report issues
  • Assist in administrative duties including inventory and ordering
  • Monitor daily staffing levels and work on the line as needed
  • Assist management with staff meetings and warm-ups
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Ensure all Serve Safe practices are followed
  • Ensure all equipment is in proper working order
  • Monitor food worker's permits are current for all cafe associates
