Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a dishwashing or steward role preferred
- understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures
- ability to handle physical tasks including standing for long periods and lifting heavy items
- reliable and punctual
- able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in a similar stewards or dishwashing role preferred
- knowledge of proper sanitation and hygiene practices
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- Clean all kitchen and dining supplies appropriately including handwashing and loading/unloading dishwashing machines
- ensure adequate amounts of clean dishes, glasses, and utensils are available for use
- maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dishwashing areas, trash/disposal areas, and soiled linen areas
- support back-of-house operations especially pertaining to food quality, safety standards, food rotation, and storage
- cooperate with cooks, servers, and bussers to maintain kitchen cleanliness
- sanitize and dry all China, glassware, silverware, and other kitchen equipment
