Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a dishwashing or steward role preferred
  • understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • ability to handle physical tasks including standing for long periods and lifting heavy items
  • reliable and punctual
  • able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in a similar stewards or dishwashing role preferred
  • knowledge of proper sanitation and hygiene practices
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Clean all kitchen and dining supplies appropriately including handwashing and loading/unloading dishwashing machines
  • ensure adequate amounts of clean dishes, glasses, and utensils are available for use
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dishwashing areas, trash/disposal areas, and soiled linen areas
  • support back-of-house operations especially pertaining to food quality, safety standards, food rotation, and storage
  • cooperate with cooks, servers, and bussers to maintain kitchen cleanliness
  • sanitize and dry all China, glassware, silverware, and other kitchen equipment
