Job Requirements
- Standing for 100% of the shift
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and have flexible schedule including Sunday and Monday availability
- Ability to work in a loud environment with frequent interruptions
- Lifting and carrying items up to 20 lbs
- Exposure to flour and grain dust including wheat, rye, corn, and oat
- Maintain food handler’s card
- Basic math skills
- Ability to communicate in English
Job Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Basic math skills
- Valid food handler's card by first day of work
- Experience with point-of-sale systems preferred
- One or more years of experience in food service preferred
- Ability to display professionalism and positive personality with customers
Job Duties
- Lead cafe operations during shifts
- Work across all cafe stations including sandwich bar and baking
- Serve as Person In Charge (PIC) ensuring compliance and smooth operations
- Deliver outstanding customer service with professionalism
- Assist with food preparation and baking one day a week
- Manage workflow efficiently during busy periods
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
