Job Requirements

  • Standing for 100% of the shift
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and have flexible schedule including Sunday and Monday availability
  • Ability to work in a loud environment with frequent interruptions
  • Lifting and carrying items up to 20 lbs
  • Exposure to flour and grain dust including wheat, rye, corn, and oat
  • Maintain food handler’s card
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to communicate in English

Job Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Basic math skills
  • Valid food handler's card by first day of work
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems preferred
  • One or more years of experience in food service preferred
  • Ability to display professionalism and positive personality with customers

Job Duties

  • Lead cafe operations during shifts
  • Work across all cafe stations including sandwich bar and baking
  • Serve as Person In Charge (PIC) ensuring compliance and smooth operations
  • Deliver outstanding customer service with professionalism
  • Assist with food preparation and baking one day a week
  • Manage workflow efficiently during busy periods
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management
