Job Requirements
- Ability to read, understand, analyze, and interpret general training manuals, professional journals, or technical procedures
- ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from children, managers, associates, members, and the general public
- ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- minimum one year of customer service experience
- food safety certification
- strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills
- enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player
- self-motivated and takes initiative
- well organized and detail oriented
- physical ability to stand for extended periods, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear
- occasionally walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
- ability to work in moderate noise environment
- willingness to work varying schedules including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of customer service experience
- food service industry experience preferred
- food safety certification

Job Duties
- Greet customers as they enter and exit the café
- create and serve food and beverage items
- promote daily specials and encourage upgrades to each order
- operate cash register, process payments through cash or credit card handling and/or member account charges
- café opening and/or closing duties as required
- maintain a clean, safe work environment according to state and local food safety standards
- understand and anticipate the needs of our members and guests
- be attentive, listen carefully and follow through
- provide exceptional customer service
- communicate timely and follow up as appropriate
- active participation in events, programs, meetings and training
- represent the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and response
- schedule varies and may require weekend and holiday hours, days and evenings
