Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or associate degree plus relevant experience
- Minimum one to three years in retail foodservice management
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Experience in cash handling and payroll management
- Ability to maintain high standards of safety and sanitation
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with computers and software applications
Job Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field preferred
- A.A. degree plus three years of related experience acceptable
- One to three years of retail operational foodservice management experience preferred
- Knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost control, marketing, and presentation
- Experience with P&L accountability and contract-managed services desirable
- Experience with cash retail operations
- Retail marketing experience highly desirable
- Supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate with management, customers, and associates
- Knowledge of financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational practices
- Proficient with computer programs including Microsoft Office, email, and internet
Job Duties
- Plan and supervise special functions
- Maintain cash controls and payroll records
- Oversee hiring and training of hourly team members
- Ensure customer satisfaction and good public relations
- Direct staff to provide scheduled retail services per corporate policies
- Train staff in customer service, portioning, cashier skills, and safety/sanitation
- Complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports on time
- Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and families
- Implement and maintain cash handling standards
