Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or associate degree plus relevant experience
  • Minimum one to three years in retail foodservice management
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Experience in cash handling and payroll management
  • Ability to maintain high standards of safety and sanitation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency with computers and software applications

Job Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field preferred
  • A.A. degree plus three years of related experience acceptable
  • One to three years of retail operational foodservice management experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost control, marketing, and presentation
  • Experience with P&L accountability and contract-managed services desirable
  • Experience with cash retail operations
  • Retail marketing experience highly desirable
  • Supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with management, customers, and associates
  • Knowledge of financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational practices
  • Proficient with computer programs including Microsoft Office, email, and internet

Job Duties

  • Plan and supervise special functions
  • Maintain cash controls and payroll records
  • Oversee hiring and training of hourly team members
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and good public relations
  • Direct staff to provide scheduled retail services per corporate policies
  • Train staff in customer service, portioning, cashier skills, and safety/sanitation
  • Complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports on time
  • Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and families
  • Implement and maintain cash handling standards
