Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one year cashier experience
- Preferred one year foodservice experience
- Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment
- Effective English communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Current Food Handler's Certification from Riverside County Public Health Department
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one year cashier experience
- Preferred experience in foodservice and high volume foodservice facility
- Ability to safely operate kitchen and cafeteria equipment
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability to perform simple math
- Food Handler's Certification required
- ServSafe certification preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare or assist with preparation of salads, fruits, hot and cold sandwiches, and dessert items
- Set up and restock salad, soup, dessert, and sandwich bars
- Ensure flavor, temperature, color, texture, and appearance of food meet quality standards
- Operate cash register systems and prepare daily cash and charge reports
- Maintain overall cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and cafeteria areas
- Assist with training new employees and dietetic students
- Perform other duties as needed
