Job Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout a shift
- Willingness to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs
- Read, sign, and abide by the policies included in the Team Member Handbook
- Park in team member designated areas
- Club cleanliness is an all-team responsibility
- assist whenever necessary in any area of the club to keep club neat and clean
- Attend mandatory Personal Training meetings
- Assist with Service Days, as assigned by Supervisor
- Assist with club programs, special events, or activities, as assigned by Supervisor
- Promptly respond to work-related correspondence
- Exhibit a positive attitude at all times
- Deliver outstanding service to members and guests, following acac's Five-Star principles
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience managing a café, restaurant, or food operation with financial responsibility
- Strong understanding of food cost, labor cost, and profit margins
- Comfortable analyzing numbers and making data-driven decisions
- Able to balance hospitality, food quality, and financial performance
- Thrives in a leadership role that requires both creativity and accountability
- ServSafe certification required
Job Duties
- Provide strong, positive leadership and clear communication to café team members
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Oversee food preparation, storage, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Manage food costs, conduct cost of goods calculations, and control waste to support profitability
- Develop and manage payroll staffing models that align labor costs with sales volume
- Plan, price, market, and execute café menus and promotions with profitability in mind
- Create and maintain schedules and staffing plans that balance service excellence and labor efficiency
- Foster a welcoming, professional, and customer-focused team culture
- Manage café operations within budget, analyze financial performance, and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Support and develop team members to build a strong, consistent, and accountable café foundation
- Maintain an efficient, organized, and upbeat café environment
