Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • proven experience as a store manager or in a similar management role in food and beverage or retail
  • strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage and motivate a team
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • proficiency with POS systems and relevant software
  • must be of legal age to manage alcohol sales according to state and local laws
  • must obtain and maintain required alcohol server or manager certifications such as TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • basic financial management knowledge including budgeting and cost control
  • authorized to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a store manager or similar role in food and beverage or retail industry

  • must obtain and maintain required alcohol server manager certifications such as TIPS and ServSafe Alcohol
  • high school diploma or equivalent required bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures
  • maintain store cleanliness organization and visual appeal
  • monitor inventory levels and place orders including alcoholic beverages
  • manage cash handling procedures and ensure accurate cash reconciliation
  • implement and enforce company policies and procedures
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and all local and state alcohol beverage control laws
  • manage and oversee staff including staffing scheduling and training
  • ensure all staff who serve alcohol are properly trained and certified
  • create a positive and supportive work environment
  • provide ongoing coaching feedback and performance evaluations
  • develop and implement strategies to motivate staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • analyze sales data and prepare reports to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement
  • monitor key performance indicators and report on store performance
  • implement cost-control measures
  • manage store budget expenses payroll and timekeeping
  • implement marketing initiatives and promotions
  • handle employee relations issues and disciplinary actions
  • maintain knowledge of industry trends and competitor activities
  • address and resolve customer complaints and issues effectively
  • ensure exceptional customer service and promptly resolve complaints
  • build relationships with regular customers
  • monitor customer feedback and implement improvements
  • ensure staff properly handle intoxicated customers and underage individuals
  • manage alcohol inventory and minimize losses due to spoilage theft or overpouring
