Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ServSafe Certification or will obtain within first month of employment
  • Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 lbs
  • Friendly with a professional demeanor and communication skills
  • Able to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Punctual, reliable, and a team player
  • Available for breakfast and lunch shifts, with possible night shifts
  • Willingness to learn and follow health and safety guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ServSafe Certification or willingness to obtain within the first month of employment
  • Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen or food service environment preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
  • Friendly with a professional demeanor and good communication skills
  • Able to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Punctual, reliable, and a team player
  • Associate Degree or higher in Culinary Arts or Hospitality is a plus
  • Minimum two years of kitchen or food service experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items to order following standardized recipes and portion sizes
  • Set up and maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation
  • Ensure that all food meets café quality, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Assist with daily prep and end-of-day breakdown and cleaning
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service
  • Receive and store food supplies as needed
  • Greet customers warmly and assist with taking orders accurately
  • Operate the POS system (TOAST) for order entry and payment processing
  • Assemble food and drink orders for pick-up
  • Answer basic menu questions and make suggestions if asked
  • Maintain cleanliness of the counter, customer area, and beverage station
  • Restock utensils, condiments, and supplies as needed
