Job Qualifications
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred
- Six months to one year of prior food and beverage experience in quick service or restaurant settings
- One year of leadership experience preferred
- Current ServSafe or similar food handling certification or willingness to obtain within first 30 days
Job Duties
- Support the proper execution of all processes, systems, and standards
- Ensure all deliveries are received correctly and logged if the Café Manager is not present
- Maintain storage and rotation to minimize wastage
- Manage the Café Team to ensure expected standards are met
- Adhere to scheduled shifts and stay beyond when necessary
- Train team members in preparing the full menu and front of house staff in drinks and ready-to-eat foods
- Set high standards for punctuality, attendance, attitude, cleanliness, and hygiene
- Maintain well-organized, accessible café and storage areas
- Handle guest concerns in the absence of the Café Manager
- Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions
