Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
  • some college preferred
  • six months to one year of prior food and beverage experience, preferably in quick service or restaurant settings
  • one year of leadership experience preferred
  • current ServSafe or similar food handling certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days

Job Duties

  • Support the proper execution of all processes, systems, and standards
  • ensure all deliveries are received correctly and logged in the absence of the Café Manager
  • maintain storage and rotation to minimize wastage
  • manage the Café Team ensuring adherence to expected standards
  • adhere to scheduled shifts and willingness to extend hours when required
  • train Café Team in menu preparation and front of house staff in drink and ready-to-eat food preparation
  • set high standards and lead by example in punctuality, attendance, attitude, cleanliness, and hygiene
  • maintain organized and accessible Café and storage areas
  • handle guest concerns in absence of the Café Manager
  • participate in regular staff meetings and training
