Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • basic computer skills including familiarity with POS systems
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • friendly and outgoing personality
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous host/hostess experience in a restaurant or food service setting preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • experience in hospitality or hotel guest services is an advantage
  • knowledge of restaurant operations and guest relations
  • ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods
  • positive attitude and enthusiasm for hospitality

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival
  • manage guest check-in and check-out processes using Toast POS systems
  • handle reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements with excellent communication skills
  • provide attentive customer service by answering questions about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies
  • maintain a clean and organized host stand area
  • coordinate with kitchen staff and servers to optimize guest experience and seating efficiency
  • demonstrate professional phone etiquette for taking reservations and addressing inquiries
  • support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously
