Job Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience depending upon formal degree or training
- proven passion for culinary excellence and exceeding guest expectations
- knowledge and proficiency of systems, methods and processes that contribute to great execution
- excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively
- highly organized with strong attention to detail
- high school education or equivalent
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years' progressive culinary and kitchen management experience
- proven passion for culinary excellence and exceeding guest expectations
- knowledge and proficiency of kitchen systems, methods, and processes
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- highly organized with strong attention to detail
- high school education or equivalent
- preferred BS/AS degree in Culinary Arts, Food Services Technology, Management or related field
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- experience with UltiPro, Toast POS, CrunchTime, Teamworks preferred
- ServSafe, Allergens, and ChokeSaver certifications preferred
Job Duties
- Run production and service according to established guidelines
- follow standardized recipes, portioning, and presentation standards
- complete and utilize daily production worksheets and waste logs
- taste completed meals to ensure quality
- train kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, equipment operation, food safety and sanitation
- establish and maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules
- maintain inventory within guidelines
- follow company safety and sanitation policies
- participate in departmental meetings and professional programs
- implement seasonal menu changes
