Job Requirements

Experience in a food and beverage environment as an assistant GM, general manager, or director
Proven leadership skills managing front-of-house teams
Strong hospitality orientation with a focus on guest experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work in ambiguous environments and develop new systems
Knowledge of restaurant openings and build-outs is advantageous
Understanding of bar operations and light culinary processes is preferred

Job Qualifications

Experience as an assistant GM, general manager, or director in a food and beverage environment
Strong track record in front-of-house operations and team leadership
Passion for hospitality and crafting thoughtful, elevated guest experiences
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Comfort working in ambiguity and building from the ground up
Experience with new openings and restaurant build-outs a plus
Familiarity with bar and light culinary operations preferred

Job Duties

Hire, train, and manage the café's full front-of-house team including baristas, servers, bartenders
Partner with the Chef de Cuisine to ensure alignment and communication between front-of-house and back-of-house
Build a culture rooted in collaboration, creativity, inclusion, and accountability
Develop training programs, set service expectations, and foster team growth and retention
Lead the day-to-day guest experience ensuring every visit is warm, polished, and memorable
Maintain ambiance and service quality throughout the day including music, cleanliness, and mood
Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues professionally
Work the floor as needed during peak times to ensure smooth, high-touch service
Own daily café operations including scheduling, staffing, and inventory management
Monitor key performance metrics such as sales, labor, and customer satisfaction and make data-driven decisions
Collaborate with store and HQ leadership on sales goals, events, and community engagement
Support café programming, events, and seasonal initiatives reflecting the brand’s vision
Source and manage vendors for front-of-house related items like dining and drinkware, uniforms, and specialty tools
Partner with Chef de Cuisine on sourcing needs impacting guest-facing experience
Maintain high standards for front-of-house presentation and materials
Work closely with culinary consultant, Chef de Cuisine, and HQ team to bring café vision to life
Support kitchen and café layout/design execution to ensure optimal flow and service efficiency
Assist in launch and refinement of systems that align with Local Eclectic’s brand and values
