This role is for a Café Team Member at the Urban Air Café. The Café Team Member is primarily responsible for effectively serving guests with food and beverages while maintaining exceptional customer service standards. This position requires working efficiently in both kitchen and front-of-house environments, including preparing and cooking food, handling cash transactions, and directly engaging with guests to ensure an enjoyable and satisfactory visit. The role demands a fast-paced approach with a strong sense of urgency combined with politeness and care to enhance the overall guest experience. Daily responsibilities include managing stock levels of café supplies, preparing ingredients, cooking and serving menu items at proper temperatures, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the service and kitchen areas, and handling guest inquiries and complaints professionally. The Café Team Member is expected to work within established guidelines and health safety codes, contribute to team meetings and training sessions, and assist the leadership team with other tasks as required. This position entails working with a diverse team to uphold the high standards of Urban Air and provide an inviting atmosphere for guests. Flexible work hours including days, nights, and weekends are necessary, as the environment is dynamic and fast-paced. Physical requirements include standing for long periods and lifting weights up to 30 pounds.
