Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent or current enrollment
- Previous sanitation, dishwashing, or environmental services experience is preferred
- Ability to bend, read, walk, carry and lift up to 50 lbs
- Good prioritization and verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
- Capability to twist, grasp and operate kitchen equipment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good sight and peripheral vision
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent or current enrollment
- Previous experience in sanitation, dishwashing, or environmental services is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to operate independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Operates dishwashing machine ensuring proper working condition and reports issues to supervisor
- Scrapes and pre-washes pans before loading into dishwashing machine
- Washes pots by hand using soap and disinfectant removing all food and grease residue
- Air-dries items before storing and rotates stock for regular use
- Maintains pot and pan storage area including floors and walls
- Keeps kitchen workstation sanitary and assists in overall kitchen cleanliness
- Sweeps, washes and mops kitchen floors as needed
- Removes trash to designated areas
- Performs other assigned duties
