Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 6+ months teaching or training persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities required
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant management, or job coaching preferred
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and multitasking
- POS (Square preferred), cash handling, and inventory control skills
- Must have a valid TN, KY, or AL driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Clear background check
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand for extended periods
- Maintain a fast-paced workflow

Job Duties
- Oversee day-to-day cafe operations - from food service and scheduling to vendor coordination and supply ordering
- Maintain compliance with all Tennessee Department of Health standards and safety requirements
- Lead and coach cafe staff and interns to deliver top-notch customer service
- Manage catering requests, pricing, and execution for events
- Plan menu specials and collaborate with team members on creative, cost-effective options
- Support and mentor individuals with disabilities through hands-on job coaching and skill development
- Track progress, complete required state reports, and communicate with families or guardians
- Work with our PR team to promote cafe specials, community events, and success stories
