Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6+ months teaching or training persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
  • Experience in food service restaurant management or job coaching preferred
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities
  • Excellent communication and multitasking
  • POS systems knowledge and cash handling experience
  • Valid TN KY or AL driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Clear background check
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Able to stand for extended periods
  • Able to maintain a fast-paced workflow

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6+ months teaching or training persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
  • Experience in food service restaurant management or job coaching preferred
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency with POS systems such as Square
  • Cash handling and inventory control skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day café operations from food service and scheduling to vendor coordination and supply ordering
  • Maintain compliance with Tennessee Department of Health standards and safety requirements
  • Lead and coach café staff and interns to deliver top-notch customer service
  • Manage catering requests pricing and execution for events
  • Plan menu specials and collaborate with team members on creative cost-effective options
  • Support and mentor individuals with disabilities through hands-on job coaching and skill development
  • Track progress complete required state reports and communicate with families or guardians
  • Work with PR team to promote café specials community events and success stories
