Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 6+ months teaching or training persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
- Experience in food service restaurant management or job coaching preferred
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and multitasking
- POS systems knowledge and cash handling experience
- Valid TN KY or AL driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Clear background check
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to maintain a fast-paced workflow
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 6+ months teaching or training persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
- Experience in food service restaurant management or job coaching preferred
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Square
- Cash handling and inventory control skills
Job Duties
- Oversee day-to-day café operations from food service and scheduling to vendor coordination and supply ordering
- Maintain compliance with Tennessee Department of Health standards and safety requirements
- Lead and coach café staff and interns to deliver top-notch customer service
- Manage catering requests pricing and execution for events
- Plan menu specials and collaborate with team members on creative cost-effective options
- Support and mentor individuals with disabilities through hands-on job coaching and skill development
- Track progress complete required state reports and communicate with families or guardians
- Work with PR team to promote café specials community events and success stories
