Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior cashier experience preferred
  • prior customer service experience preferred
  • must be able to read menu items in English
  • must be able to communicate in English with customers
  • must have basic arithmetic skills including counting cash, making change, and using a calculator
  • ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • independent judgment required

Job Duties

  • Attends department meetings and training classes as assigned
  • anticipates and meets customer needs and resolves issues
  • stocks and replenishes cafeteria items according to department standards
  • maintains cleanliness of the cafeteria dining room, servery, and tray return areas
  • maintains cleanliness and sanitation of cafeteria equipment
  • prepares catering orders and breaks down used catering carts
  • rings customer purchases and completes tender transactions
