Job Duties
- Greets all customers by providing quick, friendly and personal service
- Delivers legendary customer service with a customer comes first attitude
- Sells and serves baked goods and food items to customers
- Processes transactions through the POS and handles cash following cash register policies
- Maintains the highest standards for product preparation, adhering to licensed Starbucks recipes and specialty drink standards
- Prepares espresso shots and maintains espresso equipment according to manufacturer and sanitation standards
- Maintains composure during high volume periods and sets a positive example for the team
- Communicates with staff and management to address issues and improve service
- Assists with training new baristas by coaching and reinforcing performance
- Monitors and records temperatures of food items and equipment, reporting any issues
- Prepares inventory, requisitions supplies and ensures proper labeling and storage
- Replenishes food service areas including supplies and beverages
- Follows operational policies to ensure safe food handling and sanitation
- Performs cleaning duties on utensils, refrigerators, and equipment
- Complies with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point standards
- Corrects deficiencies related to production, safety, and sanitation
