Job Duties
- Greet customers by providing quick, friendly and personal service
- Deliver legendary customer service by acting with a customer-first attitude and connecting with customers
- Sell and serve baked goods and food items to customers
- Process transactions through POS and provide change
- Follow cash handling procedures and register policies
- Maintain product preparation standards adhering to licensed recipes and specialty drink standards
- Provide quality espresso shots and maintain espresso equipment sanitation
- Maintain calm demeanor during busy periods to keep store operating smoothly
- Communicate with staff and management to solve problems and improve quality and service
- Assist with new barista training by providing coaching and reinforcement
- Monitor and record temperatures of food items and equipment
- Report food danger temperatures
- Prepare inventory, requisition daily supplies, and ensure proper labeling and storage
- Replenish food service areas
- Follow operational policies to ensure safe food handling and sanitation
- Maintain proper production, safety, and sanitation standards
- Comply with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point standards
