Job Requirements
- Prior food service experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform work with accuracy and organization
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
- Ability to perform independently with initiative
- Subject to credit check
- Must meet age requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages depending on specific job duties as per Ohio regulations
Job Qualifications
- Prior food service experience preferred
- Basic working knowledge of food and beverage service including cooking and food preparation
- Basic math skills and ability to handle money accurately
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees and the general public
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Ability to perform work with high accuracy and organization
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
- Ability to perform duties independently and take initiative
Job Duties
- Sell, prepare, and serve food and beverages to guests
- Collect admission fees and payments for goods and services, depending on location
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Prepare, cook, and serve food promptly and courteously
- Operate point of sale (POS) system and manage daily sales with cash control
- Sell and serve alcoholic beverages according to Ohio Department of Liquor Control regulations
- Follow health and safety requirements of the Cuyahoga County Health Department and state regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of serving areas including restaurant, bar, and kitchen
- Perform inventory control including weekly inventory sheets and daily restocking
- Perform opening and closing procedures
- Assist patrons in safe equipment use and enforce safety and conduct rules
- Greet customers, answer questions, and respond to inquiries
- Maintain communication with supervisors about significant issues
- Ensure a safe work environment and respond to hazards as capable
