Job Duties
- Prepare food according to item specifications
- maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise
- collaborate with cross-functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources
- communicate effectively with team members
- be flexible to work in other areas as needed
- ensure high-quality products are fresh, ready, and available in the cafe
- maintain clean shelves and proper temperature control
- verify expiration dates and dispose of lesser-quality food products
- pack ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays
- prepare and serve ready-to-eat food
- maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area
- leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience
- utilize handheld technology for business decisions related to production and ordering merchandise
- stock and rotate merchandise
- ensure quality and date control standards
- eliminate waste
- provide member service by acknowledging members and assisting with purchasing decisions
- resolve member issues and concerns
- comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data and resources
- collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners
- communicate progress and information
- adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback
