Job Duties
- Prepare all fudge products and sell to customers
- Perform all Ginna's restaurant functions including deli line, barista, grill, ice cream, baked goods, fudge and other duties as assigned
- Follow all food safety guidelines by state and local ordinances
- Ensure reception and storage of products per standard operating guidelines
- Assist in training new associates with kitchen tools, checklists and guidelines
- Manage cash control and till operations according to Scheels cashier guidelines
- Support side work, daily cleaning schedules, opening and closing procedures
- Maintain knowledge of café recipes and prepared foods
- Keep personal and surrounding workspaces clean and orderly
- Maintain professionalism, positive team attitude and respect others
- Perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division relevant to money and measurements
- Read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Write routine reports and correspondence
- Communicate effectively with customers and employees
- Work varied schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Prepare various food, drinks and ingredients
