Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in food preparation or service preferred
- Food safety certification preferred
- Food handler certification (Food Safety) preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt and learn technology tools
- Customer service experience
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts and areas
- Basic inventory management knowledge.
Job Duties
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources
- Communicate effectively with team members and be flexible to work in other areas as needed
- Prepare food according to item specifications and plan for future and mass production
- Adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain compliance
- Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and engage associates
- Manage inventory, ordering merchandise, receiving club pick up orders, and quality control
- Drive performance of the area including stocking, rotating merchandise, and ensuring quality control
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and resolving issues
- Act as a brand ambassador by developing and inspiring others, supporting team-oriented work styles
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners
- Identify priorities and deadlines, communicate progress, and recommend improvements
- Adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.
