Job Duties
- ensure high-quality products are fresh, ready, and available in the café
- maintain clean shelves, control temperatures, verify expiration dates, and dispose of inferior quality food products
- pack ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays
- prepare and serve ready-to-eat food
- maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area
- maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to educate associates on tools, tasks, and resources
- prepare food according to item specifications
- adhere to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
- operate and sanitize equipment
- use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience
- stock and rotate merchandise
- eliminate waste
- provide member service by acknowledging and assisting members
- assist with purchasing decisions, payment types, and resolving member issues
- comply with company policies and implement action plans
- collaborate with managers, co-workers, and other business partners to complete tasks and improve processes
