Job Requirements
- maricopa county food handler's certificate before employment start date
- valid arizona department of public safety identity prints (ivp) level 1 fingerprint card
- proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after january 1, 1957
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- barista experience is desirable
- one year of cooking experience in a restaurant or cafe
- two or more years experience handling financial transactions preferred
- ability to operate standard business machines including cash register, 10-key calculator and computer terminal
- ability to be bonded
Job Duties
- oversee daily operations of the cafe and bookstore
- provide exceptional customer service to students, employees, and the public
- maintain compliance with health and food safety regulations
- manage financial operations of the cafe, bookstore, and vending machines
- operate standard business equipment including cash registers and calculators
- monitor inventory and assist with purchasing
- ensure the safety and cleanliness of cafe and bookstore areas
