Job Requirements
- Must be a current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee
- Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program
- Have a valid United States Social Security Number
- Maintain valid visa status if applicable
- Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA
- In good disciplinary standing
- Located in the United States
- Preferable experience in the music industry or active membership in a music industry club or organization
- Knowledge of current music trends across multiple genres
- Patience and tact with ability to manage stressful situations
- Punctual and detail-oriented
- Must have working knowledge of contracts and riders
- Excellent communication skills
- Discretion and confidentiality required
- Availability to work days, nights, weekends and some holidays
- Preference for summer semester work commitment
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Work within assigned territory to book bills and packages that make sense for The Red Room
- Develop relationships with agents, managers and artists including Berklee, local and national talent
- Identify and research music trends, playlists, music publications, websites and performers to make educated programming suggestions
- Consult Pollstar Pro to understand fair market pricing and learn industry professionals roles and rosters
- Negotiate deals that align with the venue's budgetary constraints and fair market prices
- Execute contracts and riders for performing artists demonstrating understanding of contract legalities
- Send offer sheets, determine ticket pricing and room set-up in coordination with Red Room Venue Manager and Event Manager
- Coordinate night of show information with Venue Manager, artists, and managers covering contracts, riders, show folders, hospitality, and merchandising
- Attend shows as a promoter representative acting as the point person for advancing the shows during night shifts and weekends
- Assume the role of usher when scheduled, monitoring patrons, accounting for attendance, capacity, and ticket scanning at both ticketed and non-ticketed events
