Job Requirements

  • Must possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent
  • driver's license is required
  • must pass a criminal background check as well as a drug screen prior to employment
  • must have schedule flexibility for the weekend, holiday, and night shifts
  • must be able to lift up to 70 pounds in confined spaces
  • must be able to stand, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods of time
  • must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment

Job Duties

  • Lift and carry cleaning equipment, cleaning trays, and cases of supplies to service the aircraft
  • in a timely manner, clean passenger seating, vacuum floors and wipe down tray tables so the aircraft is free of debris
  • perform aircraft security inspection to comply with government and Company security requirements
  • perform a visual inspection of the aircraft to ensure no items are left on board the aircraft
  • return items left by passengers or crew members to the appropriate authority
  • mop galleys of aircraft and dispose of trash in designated dumpsters
  • restock magazines, safety information cards, and other supplies on the aircraft
  • clean aircraft lavatories and empty waste receptacles
  • load supplies onto the cabin service truck and return unused supplies to the designated area
  • ensure the cabin service supply room is kept in an organized and neat manner
  • check inventory to ensure there is an adequate supply of items needed to service aircraft
  • drive crew members to each aircraft for cleaning
  • other duties as assigned
