Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • 4 years of work experience in a similar role
  • 2 years of culinary and/or high-end food service experience
  • must be 21 years of age
  • flight safety international or equivalent corporate cabin attendant recurrent training
  • MedAire Management of Inflight Illness and Injury certification or CPR, AED equivalent

Job Duties

  • Receive guidance from the pilot in command for day-to-day operations
  • report all cabin discrepancies and maintenance issues to pilot in command
  • coordinate with pilots, maintenance, and cleaning crews to ensure aircraft is clean and properly serviced
  • conduct preflight check of all cabin equipment before each flight
  • ensure passengers comply with federal regulations on part 91 flights
  • brief passengers on safety features of the aircraft
  • assist and command the cabin in emergencies including medical or evacuation situations
  • operate all emergency equipment such as fire extinguishers, life rafts, oxygen equipment, and AED
  • assist passengers with cabin management systems and carry-on luggage
  • assist passengers with seating, including those with disabilities and children requiring restraint
  • maintain knowledge of all service equipment and procedures
  • keep cabin neat and orderly at all times
  • maintain bedding and locker areas
  • coordinate and shop for interior items as requested by owner
  • plan and print menus and weather cards
  • plan, order, shop, prepare, and serve all meals and beverages
  • develop and maintain standard stock and vendor sources for cabin, lavatory, and galley
  • ensure aircraft is prepared to specifications before each flight
  • update client profiles and maintain required paperwork such as post-trip and catering reports
  • create and maintain aircraft specific manuals
  • manage expense accounts
  • attend and maintain currency in all required safety, medical, and company training
  • supervise or train contract or part-time cabin crewmembers
  • represent Jet Aviation internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network
