Job Requirements
- must pass a criminal background check as well as a drug screen prior to employment
- must have schedule flexibility for the weekend, holiday, and night shifts
Job Qualifications
- must possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent
- airport or relevant cleaning experience is preferred
- must be able to lift up to 70 pounds in confined spaces
- must be able to stand, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods of time
- must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment
Job Duties
- Lift and carry cleaning equipment, cleaning trays, and cases of supplies to service the aircraft
- clean passenger seating, vacuum floors, and wipe down tray tables in a timely manner so aircraft is free of debris
- perform aircraft security inspection to comply with government and company security requirements
- perform visual inspection of aircraft to ensure no items are left onboard and return items left by passengers or crew to appropriate authority
- mop galleys of aircraft and dispose of trash in designated dumpsters
- restock magazines, food, beverages, and other supplies on the aircraft
- clean aircraft lavatories and empty waste receptacles
- arrive to work on time and at assigned post to ensure prompt servicing and on time departures
- load supplies onto cabin service truck and return unused supplies to designated area
- ensure cabin service supply room is kept organized and neat
- check inventory to ensure adequate supplies needed to service aircraft
- greet crew members, flight attendants, and passengers in a friendly manner
- perform other duties as assigned
