Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous airport or relevant cleaning experience preferred
  • ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
  • schedule flexibility including weekends, holidays, and night shifts
  • physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds
  • ability to stand, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods
  • willingness to work in various weather conditions and noise levels at the airport

Job Qualifications

  • Must possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent
  • airport or relevant cleaning experience is preferred
  • must pass a criminal background check as well as a drug screen prior to employment
  • must have schedule flexibility for the weekend, holiday, and night shifts
  • must be able to lift up to 70 pounds in confined spaces
  • must be able to stand, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods of time
  • must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment

Job Duties

  • Lift and carry cleaning equipment, cleaning trays, and cases of supplies to service the aircraft
  • promptly clean passenger seating, vacuum floors, and wipe down tray tables so the aircraft is free of debris
  • perform aircraft security inspection to comply with government and company security requirements
  • perform a visual inspection of the aircraft to ensure no items are left onboard and return found items to the appropriate authority
  • mop galleys of aircraft and dispose of trash in designated dumpsters
  • restock magazines, food, beverages, and other supplies on the aircraft
  • clean aircraft lavatories and empty waste receptacles
  • arrive to work on time and at assigned post to ensure prompt servicing of the aircraft and on-time departures
  • load supplies onto cabin service truck and return unused supplies to designated area
  • ensure the cabin service supply room is kept in an organized and neat manner
  • check inventory to ensure there is an adequate supply of items needed to service aircraft
  • greet crew members, flight attendants, and passengers in a friendly manner
  • perform other duties as assigned
