Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous airport or relevant cleaning experience preferred
- ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- schedule flexibility including weekends, holidays, and night shifts
- physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- ability to stand, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods
- willingness to work in various weather conditions and noise levels at the airport
Job Qualifications
- Must possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent
- airport or relevant cleaning experience is preferred
- must pass a criminal background check as well as a drug screen prior to employment
- must have schedule flexibility for the weekend, holiday, and night shifts
- must be able to lift up to 70 pounds in confined spaces
- must be able to stand, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods of time
- must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment
Job Duties
- Lift and carry cleaning equipment, cleaning trays, and cases of supplies to service the aircraft
- promptly clean passenger seating, vacuum floors, and wipe down tray tables so the aircraft is free of debris
- perform aircraft security inspection to comply with government and company security requirements
- perform a visual inspection of the aircraft to ensure no items are left onboard and return found items to the appropriate authority
- mop galleys of aircraft and dispose of trash in designated dumpsters
- restock magazines, food, beverages, and other supplies on the aircraft
- clean aircraft lavatories and empty waste receptacles
- arrive to work on time and at assigned post to ensure prompt servicing of the aircraft and on-time departures
- load supplies onto cabin service truck and return unused supplies to designated area
- ensure the cabin service supply room is kept in an organized and neat manner
- check inventory to ensure there is an adequate supply of items needed to service aircraft
- greet crew members, flight attendants, and passengers in a friendly manner
- perform other duties as assigned
