Job Requirements
- Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree highly preferred but not required
- related sales experience and/or training in wine and/or spirits sales required
- related sales experience of six years or more or equivalent combination of education and experience
- current state driver’s license
- ability to meet company vehicle insurance requirements
- Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) license or permit as required by the state

Job Duties
- Demonstrate expertise knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling specialized products such as fine wine and luxury brands
- manage pre-sells and vintage sensitive projects and programs
- develop and deliver sales and product presentations to customers
- train and educate sales staff on all facets of wine knowledge while coaching and mentoring less experienced representatives
- develop long-term sales plans for key customers and monitor sales activities to meet objectives
- collaborate with marketing to create pricing programs for non-mainstream items
- solicit business through personal visits, educating customers on product features and benefits
- provide excellent customer service including needs assessment and complaint resolution
- influence district managers and representatives to enhance brand presence and provide market insights
