Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in equipment maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems and electrical circuitry
- Freon certification required
- Valid driver’s license for department vehicle operation
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work in varying physical environments
- Ability to communicate effectively

Job Duties
- Maintain F5 equipment through preventative maintenance, repairs, electrical, refrigeration and general repairs
- Maintain facilities through carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing and general repair projects
- Keep repair sites clean and safe
- Care for tools and equipment by proper use and by practicing preventative maintenance procedures
- Inform the Director of Child Nutrition of needed supplies and equipment
- Collect and transport needed supplies and equipment to repair sites
- Assist the Director of Child Nutrition with cost estimates on minor repairs
- Promptly assist with emergency repairs
- Responsible for driving and upkeep of department van and pickup
- Responsible for yearly cleaning of cafeteria vent-a-hoods
- Maintain and upkeep of gas appliances
- Knowledge of 480, 240, and 208 circuitry
- Lead and attend staff meetings/trainings as applicable
- serve on staff committees
- Assume responsibility for own professional growth and development
- Maintain and accept responsibility for any district owned fixed asset item assigned
- Undergo periodic evaluations according to state and board policy procedures
