Job Requirements

  • be 18 years of age or older
  • 2+ years of relevant experience as a pastry cook
  • weekend availability required
  • ability to work early mornings and most holidays
  • culinary degree preferred
  • food safety knowledge preferred
  • excellent work ethic and reliability

Job Qualifications

  • knowledge of pastry techniques and recipes
  • culinary degree preferred
  • food safety certification preferred
  • ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards

Job Duties

  • prepare and execute the dessert menu as directed by the Chef de Cuisine
  • maintain knowledge of all pastry recipes and kitchen procedures
  • assist with inventory management and organization
  • ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the pastry station
  • ensure quality, consistency, and freshness of all pastries
  • support kitchen staff in maintaining high standards during service
  • manage time efficiently to meet service demands
