Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid FAA A&P certificate
- Minimum of five years hands-on aircraft maintenance experience
- At least two years of aviation maintenance supervisory experience
- US citizenship to obtain and maintain US Government Secret Security Clearance
- Skilled in operations, logistics, and resource management
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel as required
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior management
- Knowledge of Army Aviation Regulations and FAA Federal Aviation Regulations
- Proficiency in documentation and maintenance tracking systems
- Experience with quality management systems
- Commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to train and develop personnel
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Valid FAA A&P certificate
- Minimum of five years hands-on aircraft maintenance experience
- At least two years in an aviation maintenance supervisory role
- Extensive knowledge of C-12/King Air Turboprop and UC-35 Cessna Citation aircraft maintenance
- Skilled in operations, logistics, and resource management
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work under deadlines and multiple shift operations
Job Duties
- Manage a team of A&P mechanics performing organizational level maintenance on Army C-12 and/or UC-35 Citation aircraft
- Plan and coordinate all aircraft inspections including special, conditional, and phase inspections
- Monitor and maintain documentation of all scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance
- Dispatch and monitor assigned tasks and jobs to work centers
- Collaborate with Operations Department to ensure aircraft availability for flight schedules
- Assist in documentation of aircraft flight time and maintenance discrepancies
- Monitor the Amentum/MRO system and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports
- Track and document aircraft maintenance including TBOs, SBs, SILs, ADs, and maintain historical aircraft records
- Enforce compliance with Army Aviation Regulations and FAA Federal Aviation Regulations
- Verify maintenance action documentation prior to submission to US Army
- Train site employees in work methods and job duties
- Develop and monitor Master Training Plan compliance
- Review Quality Management System (QMS) including QT9
- Ensure Local General Operating Procedures (LGOP) align with GOP
- Submit NRT requests as per PWS
- Monitor maintenance completion before flights
- Perform other related duties as assigned
