Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in dietary or food service preferred
- ability to follow schedules including holidays
- ability to operate kitchen and cleaning equipment
- ability to adhere to sanitation and safety standards
- strong communication skills
- ability to work collaboratively with patients and staff
- physical ability to perform cleaning, lifting, and standing tasks
- willingness to wear assigned uniform

Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize juice machines and other dietary areas
- maintain cleanliness of all dietary areas
- work posted schedule including holidays
- set up tables for patient meals
- record dish machine temperatures on temperature chart
- serve meals to patients
- prepare and deliver snacks to units
- wash dishes in dish room
- put away orders into refrigerators, freezers, storeroom, and kitchen with proper rotation (FIFO)
- sweep and mop floors
- take out trash
- demonstrate appropriate sanitation methods
- interact respectfully with patients and staff
- record refrigerator temperatures
- wear assigned uniform
- perform duties assigned by supervisor
- assist cook and dietary supervisor in food preparation and serving meals
- maintain par levels of snacks and rotate snack delivery daily
- clean, organize, and maintain snack areas on units
