Job Duties

  • Cleans and sanitizes juice machines and dietary areas
  • works posted schedule including holidays
  • sets up tables for patient meals
  • records dish machine temperatures
  • serves meals to patients
  • prepares and delivers snacks to units
  • washes dishes in dish room
  • puts away orders in refrigerator, freezer, storeroom, and kitchen ensuring FIFO
  • sweeps and mops floors
  • takes out trash
  • demonstrates proper sanitation methods
  • interacts respectfully with patients and staff
  • records refrigerator temperature
  • wears assigned uniform
  • assists cook and dietary supervisor in food preparation and serving
  • maintains par levels of snacks and rotates snacks daily
  • cleans, organizes, and maintains snack areas on units
