Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- Formal butler, etiquette, or Forbes service training is a strong advantage
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
- Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting of guest belongings or amenities
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of luxury hospitality experience preferably in front office, guest relations, or butler services
- Strong working knowledge of Forbes Travel Guide service standards preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- High level of etiquette, discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining calm and gracious demeanor
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Flexible shift availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- On-call availability for VIP guest arrivals
Job Duties
- Serve as the first point of contact with guests upon arrival
- Welcome guests by name and assist with their luggage
- Provide hotel orientation and room feature demonstrations aligning with Forbes standards
- Safely transport guest luggage to and from rooms or vehicles
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of lobby, bell stand, and storage areas
- Coordinate personalized guest amenities, including welcome notes, in-room gifts, floral arrangements, specialty food and beverages, and celebratory touches
- Actively engage with guests in public areas to anticipate and fulfill needs
- Assist guests with unpacking and packing services upon request
- Manage personal guest requests such as laundry, pressing, shoe care, transportation, or dining and spa arrangements in coordination with the Supervisor
- Document and communicate guest preferences and service interactions for future stays
- Support the Guest Relations Manager in guest recognition, VIP tracking, and amenity planning
- Uphold polished appearance, professional demeanor, and adhere to Forbes service and grooming standards
- Maintain full confidentiality and discretion regarding all guest matters
