Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One-year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Ability to organize workflow and coordinate activities
  • Ability to maintain effective customer relations
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, the Internet, and other relevant software
  • Knowledge of campus history and guest room features
  • Knowledge of Winston-Salem city roads, directions, and surrounding areas
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to meet University automobile insurance policy requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and provide general information regarding room assignments, maintenance, food service, and transportation
  • Deliver requested items to guest rooms such as gift baskets
  • Assist guests with luggage and arrange reservations, tee times, and appointments
  • Track airline changes and confirm flight schedules
  • Provide tours of the property sharing its history
  • Assist with guest transportation and provide directions
  • Maintain fuel levels for fleet vehicles and complete weekly inspection reports
  • Communicate with guests and staff via phone, radio, and face-to-face contact
  • Complete tickets for billing purposes
