Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hospitality or customer service desirable
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • proficiency with property management software preferred

  • physical ability to perform housekeeping and service duties

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Work with GSA to obtain pre-arrival data for advanced preparation of arrangements to maximize positive guest experience such as guest names (ages of children) and contact information
  • stay dates, flight information and guidance with airport arrival experience
  • transportation arrangements (arrival and departure, car rental, taxi or ride sharing programs)
  • concierge services (tours, activities, attractions)
  • food & beverage preferences, requested groceries and allergies
  • room set-up preferences, housekeeping/special needs and requests
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and compliance with familiarity with guest profiles, maintaining positive guest relations at all-times
  • all departmental services, policies, procedures and standards
  • correct maintenance and use of equipment as intended
  • maintaining supplies and all resource materials
  • weather conditions (current and forecasted)
  • operation of Opera (Property Management System)
  • processing miscellaneous charges and payment to guest accounts
  • anticipation of guest needs, prompt coordination of guest requests
  • ensuring guest satisfaction (resolve guest complaints)
  • Perform (or have staff perform) housekeeping duties as requested including maintaining cleanliness, sanitation and organization of guest and work areas
  • unpacking, packing
  • laundry, valet (light) pressing, dry cleaning to be sent out
  • shoe care
  • Jacuzzi and Dry Sauna preparation
  • dishwashing, general tidying
  • schedule suite servicing and turndown time with housekeeping
  • arrange and provide current copies of newspapers and magazines
  • Perform (or have staff perform) F&B services as requested including table setting (knowledge of settings, utensils etc.)
  • beverage service (coffee/tea/wine)
  • simple cooking or take order for F&B
  • inventory, procure and replenish pantry when necessary
  • customize Mugen menu, seek assistance when necessary with food & wine pairings
  • run dishwasher cycle with used plates, glassware and utensils
  • assist guest with serving meals
  • delivery and set-up of amenities as required
  • inventory and replenishment of kitchen/dining equipment
  • Perform (or have staff perform) concierge services as requested including business services
  • dining recommendations and reservations
  • attractions/activity/tour planning and reservations
  • arranging floral options
  • be familiar with local events and assist with event planning
  • personal shopping
  • arrange spa/massage/personal grooming services
  • child care arrangements
  • transportation arrangement
  • Ensure guests safety and security on property
  • provide guests with safety and security tips when traveling off property, especially when participating in ocean and other nature activities
  • In addition, any other duties directed by hotels management
