  • strong customer service and oral communication skills
  • ability to lift, carry, deliver and serve from trays weighing up to 50 pounds
  • ability to balance serving tray on one hand while distributing orders to customers with the other
  • ability to carry and set up folding table to support heavy orders
  • ability to take customer orders, review bills and navigate dining and kitchen areas
  • specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Job Duties

  • Clear all used tableware, napkins and refuse from tables to bus station
  • wipe tables, chairs and clear debris and crumbs from floor areas surrounding table
  • assist wait staff by refilling customers beverages and accommodating requests for additional condiments, food items or clean/fresh tableware
  • maintain a clean, well-stocked and orderly bus station at all times in order to improve efficiency and productivity
  • retrieve cleaned dishes, glassware and utensils from the dish room and distribute to each service station in order to keep a ready supply available for restaurant use
  • identify and explain all dishes on current menus
  • perform other duties including running dishes, sweeping, emptying trash, filling waters
