Job Requirements

  • Basic math skills required
  • Legible handwriting
  • Teamwork
  • Strong customer service and oral communication skills
  • Frequently required to lift, carry, deliver and serve from trays weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the work shift
  • Balance serving tray on one hand while distributing orders to customers with the other
  • Carry and set up folding table to support particularly heavy orders
  • Take customer orders, review customer bills and smoothly navigate dining room, kitchen and other facility areas
  • U.S. work authorization required
  • Specific vision abilities required including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Job Duties

  • Clear all used tableware, napkins and refuse from tables to bus station
  • Wipe tables, chairs and clear debris and crumbs from floor areas surrounding table
  • Assist wait staff by refilling customers beverages and accommodating requests for additional condiments, food items or clean/fresh tableware
  • Maintain a clean, well-stocked and orderly bus station at all times in order to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Retrieve cleaned dishes, glassware and utensils from the dish room and distribute to each service station in order to keep a ready supply available for restaurant use
  • Identify and explain all dishes on current menus
  • Perform other duties including running dishes, sweeping, emptying trash, filling waters
