Job Requirements
- Must be able to sit handle eye-hand coordination stoop kneel and walk or stand for multiple hours in succession
- Ability to lift carry pull or push approximately 21-50 pounds
- Must withstand changes to temperature occasional smoke steam and heat
- Able to work in a confined area for multiple hours in succession
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms talk and hear effectively with surrounding background noise
- Must have close distance peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Must possess adequate sensory abilities to observe and detect emergency situations
- Able to add subtract multiply and divide at a basic level
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a busser or food runner preferred but not required
- Basic English speaking skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and be self-motivated
- Good organizational time management and sales skills
- Verbal communication skills to relay basic information
- Dependable reliable and driven with minimal supervision
- High level of awareness attention to detail and follow-through
- Effective and efficient at multi-tasking in pressure situations
Job Duties
- Set maintain and clear tables in a timely professional and efficient manner
- Support service staff by restocking service stations polishing and restocking flatware glassware and plateware
- Assist with table maintenance and water refills
- Deliver dishes to guests in a timely and efficient manner using proper names upon delivery
- Assist with expedition of food when an expediting chef or manager is not present
