Job Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred
  • valid CA state Food Handlers Card required
  • must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
  • ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 20 pounds

  • must comprehend and speak English

Job Duties

  • Consistently keep the restaurant organized and clean
  • set up trash cans, soda, plates, utensils, and to-go containers at start of shift
  • pick up soiled plates and beverages, and place into bus tubs
  • ensure full bus tubs get brought back into the kitchen
  • maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day
  • maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation and proper table set ups
  • assist server in bringing food in kitchen and assist kitchen in expediting food
  • complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, taking care of lines, etc.
  • ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • anticipate and address guests' service needs
  • speak with others using clear and professional language
  • ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance
  • perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
  • adhere to departmental policies and procedures
  • effectively communicate with peers, management, line and front of the house employees
  • perform related duties as required
  • be responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general property
  • subscribe to proper grooming, dress and uniform standards as set forth by company policy
  • be courteous to all guests and coworkers
  • maintain behavior consistent with sexual harassment/hostile work environment policy dictated in the employee handbook
